mini lamb burgers

Serves 4

 

ingredients

Burgers

500g lamb mince

1 brown onion, finely chopped

2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

2 tsps cumin

1 egg

¼ cup mint, chopped

¼ cup parsley chopped

 

Tzatziki Dip

1 cup natural Greek yoghurt

2 garlic cloves, crushed

1 lebansese cucumber, finely diced

2 tbsp mint, finely chopped

 

To serve

8 Mini burger buns

method

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add onion cook until soft and translucent. Add garlic, and cumin. Cook for a further minute.

 

Combine lamb mince, cooked onion mixture, egg and herbs. Mix well. Roll tablespoons of mixture into 8 balls and place on baking paper lined tray flattening slightly. 

 

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add lamb burgers and cook for 5 minutes turning once or until lightly brown and coked through. 

 

For the dip combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine.

 

Serve burgers in mini buns with tatziki dip, lettuce, and greens.
