sticky date porridge

Serves 4

 

ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

2 ¼ cup milk

½ cup fresh dates, pitted

Coconut flakes, toasted

Honey, to serve

method

Add oats, milk and dates to a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil.

 

Mash dates through the porridge. Cover and remove from heat. Stand for 10 minutes. 

 

Serve with toasted coconut and honey.
